I liked the way Krentz wrapped up the mystery and the personal stories. And then there was the suspense which, surprisingly, was very good. So on the surface, it’s another strange match, very typical of JAK couples. Two more weeks went by before they met at the first event. Although I guessed who villain was, I liked to read development of events and solution of mystery step by step.

His voice just didn’t seem right to Sam Stark complained to his caterer Desdemona after he got trusr at the altar again.

She is the owner of the catering business and needs to make sure the groom, Sam, pays for the food. All in all it was a decent beach read but not one that I’d read over and over It was a romamnce and predictable in that manner, but there were other surprises along the way that made for a delectable read. The plot thickens when someone breaks into his upstairs office, where Sam is designing a new security system that can’t be corrupted. And that was the fin Sam Stark met Desdemona Wainwright, for the first time, on the day he was dumped at the altar. The review of this Book prepared by Laura Allen. All-in-all an enjoyable, light-hearted book. Stark, on the other hand, is billed as being an emotionless robot, completely socially inept and lacking any understanding of how real people think and feel.
